Wedding Fayre at Edgeley Park

We had a good day at Edgeley Park on Sunday 26th February. There was a good turn out and lots of wonderful suppliers for everyone to see!

Here are a few pictures of the table we created for the day

Beautiful Nunsmere!

I've past Nunsmere Hall many times on my way to other venues, but sadly never had the opportunity to do a wedding there, until yesterday!

We were greeted with a warm welcome from Melvyn
who was very helpful and nothing too much trouble

We were there for the wedding of Kerry and Paul

Kerry is pictured with her dad Brian before the ceremony

Kerry chose a natural style for her flowers, incorporating foliage from her Mum and Dad's garden

Paul wore a buttonhole to complement Kerry's bouquet

The two little bridesmaid's carried a single rose in a wand style with lots of ribbon trails!

The ceremony table was decorated with hand tied bouquets similar to Kerry's bouquet and placed in glass vases

The vases were transferred to the reception table after the ceremony.

The reception table was a long table decorated with candles and the vases (pictures to follow)

The cake was decorated with a simple spray of flowers to complement the rest of the wedding

All in all we enjoyed our first wedding at Nunsmere Hall.
The beautiful hotel and grounds and very friendly, helpful staff
I would highly recommend Nunsmere Hall for your wedding

Martin Hambleton Photography, the photographer for Kerry and Paul's wedding, have put a lovely post of the wedding on their blog, with lots of wonderful informal photos (see link below)

Wedding on the Talyllyn Railway!

My best friend from school was married on the Talyllyn Railway in Wales at the weekend.
Excellent idea for a wedding, it was different and great fun! I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for something a bit different for their wedding!

We took a normal passenger train to the station where we were to get on the steam train. We caused a bit of a stir, don't think they were used to seeing a bride stood in the aisle of the train in full wedding dress!

You stop off at a couple of beauty spots en route for photos

You also get your name engraved on a plaque which is placed on the front of the train for the day and then presented to you after the wedding

There's No Taste Like Home!

One of the restaurants we provide with flowers was featured on Gino D' Acampo's 'There's No Taste Like Home' on the 14th October. You can watch the programme on ITV Player or why not visit Amba over the next month and try the winning dish! Our flowers starred briefly!
